Topsham, Devon 27 May 1997 Nello's and Marc's Ride for Life cycle from Topsham, Devon to Venice, Italy is set to depart at 9 am on June 11th from the Topsham town quay. The first's day's ride will be to Poole, where they will catch a morning ferry to Cherbourg, Normandy at 8 am on Thursday June 12th. The route has been slightly modified, too, bringing down total mileage to about 1200 miles, but adding the considerable challenge of climbing the Alps by way of the 10,000 foot Mont Cenis pass.
